Welcome to Urban Club Relocation Packers & Movers. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services and website. By engaging our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.
1. Definitions
- "Company," "We," "Us," "Our" refers to Urban Club Relocation Packers & Movers
- "Customer," "You," "Your" refers to the person or entity engaging our services
- "Services" refers to all packing, moving, loading, unloading, transportation, and related services
- "Goods" refers to all items or property to be moved
2. Service Agreement
2.1 Quotation and Booking
- All quotations are estimates based on information provided by the customer
- Final charges may vary based on actual volume, distance, labor, and service requirements
- Quotations are valid for 15 days
- Booking is confirmed only after advance payment is received
- Customer must provide accurate details of goods and access conditions
2.2 Payment Terms
- Advance payment: 25–50% of the estimated amount
- 100% balance payment must be completed at the loading point after packing
- Accepted payment methods: Cash, UPI, Bank Transfer, Credit/Debit Cards
- Additional charges apply for extra services requested onsite
- All payments are to be made in INR
3. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate information regarding goods and special handling requirements
- Ensure fragile and valuable items are properly packed if self-packing
- Declare valuables, important documents, ghee, oil, liquor, or any sensitive items
- Do not hand over gold, ornaments, cash, or precious items
- Do not hand over oil or liquid items that may spill
- Ensure clear access at both locations
- Arrange necessary permissions from societies / buildings
- Be present or appoint a representative during packing, loading, and delivery
- Verify inventory and condition of goods upon delivery
- For local shifting, all carton boxes must be returned on the same day
- Next-day carton box pickup incurs ₹1000; keeping boxes permanently costs ₹80 per box
- Comply with all applicable laws
4. Company Responsibilities
- Provide professional packing and moving services
- Use high-quality packing materials such as Bubble Sheet, Corrugated Sheet, Stretch Film, and Thermocol for fragile/electrical items
- Handle goods with reasonable care
- Provide trained and experienced manpower
- Maintain proper documentation and inventory
- Deliver goods within agreed timelines, subject to external conditions
- The Company does not undertake electrical, carpentry, or plumbing work
5. Prohibited Items
The following items will not be transported:
- Hazardous materials (explosives, flammables, chemicals, gas cylinders)
- Illegal goods, drugs, weapons, contraband
- Live plants or gumlas (pots)
- Perishable items
- Cash, jewelry, and precious stones (unless declared & insured)
- Important documents such as passports, certificates, legal papers
- Items that may damage other goods
6. Cancellation & Rescheduling
6.1 Cancellation by Customer
- More than 48 hours before service: 75% refund of advance
- 24–48 hours before service: 50% refund
- Less than 24 hours: No refund
- Refunds processed within 7–10 business days
6.2 Rescheduling
- First reschedule is free if informed 48 hours prior
- Subsequent rescheduling may incur charges
- Less than 24 hours reschedule is subject to availability and extra cost
6.3 Cancellation by Company
- In case of unforeseen circumstances (natural disasters, strikes, etc.) the Company may cancel or reschedule
- Full refund is provided if the Company initiates cancellation
7. Liability & Insurance
7.1 Transit Insurance
- Insurance is optional and chargeable
- Insurance covers transit loss/damage only
- Comprehensive Insurance receipts are issued directly by the insurance company
- Claims must be filed within 7 days of delivery
7.2 Limitation of Liability
- Without insurance, liability is limited to ₹10,000 or actual value (whichever is lower)
- The Company is not liable for loss/damage due to accident, pilferage, fire, rain, collision, road hazards, or natural calamities
- Company is not responsible for damage caused by inherent defects, wear & tear, or improper customer packing
- No liability for delays caused by traffic, weather, government restrictions, or external factors
- Minor scratches or cosmetic damages are not covered unless insured
7.3 Claims Procedure
- Damages must be recorded on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery
- Claims must include photos and supporting documents
- Company reserves the right to inspect damaged items
- Claims processed within 30 days
8. Force Majeure
The Company is not liable for delays or failure due to uncontrollable events such as natural disasters, war, pandemics, strikes, government restrictions, or vehicle breakdowns.
9. Dispute Resolution
- Customers must first contact the Company for resolution
- Both parties agree to attempt amicable settlement
- All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra
10. Intellectual Property
All website content including text, images, and graphics is protected under copyright laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
11. Privacy
Personal information is collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Storage Services
- Storage facility available at ₹150 per day
- Loading, unloading, and local delivery charges are additional
- The Company is not liable for deterioration caused by long-term storage
- Proper documentation must be provided by the customer
13. Vehicle Transport Services
- Vehicle must be in running condition unless stated otherwise
- Customer must provide RC & insurance documents
- All personal items must be removed from the vehicle
- Inspection is conducted before loading
- Vehicle must have a minimum of 8–10 liters of fuel
- Vehicle may run approximately 100 km during pickup and delivery movement
14. Modifications to Terms
The Company may update these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on the website.
